A Premier Service Learning/Cultural Immersion program to Kenya
The African International Foundation for Educational Excellence (AIFEE) has been delivering service-learning/cultural immersion opportunities to college students, churches and the community for the last 15 years. Founded and registered as a 501 C 3, AIFEE has developed intimate connections with authentic families and communities in rural Kenya. These families and communities provide culturally authentic placements, activities and experiences for participants seeking to grow cross culturally or make a difference.
The two-week cultural immersion program provides a carefully designed mix of touristic exploration, education, personal growth and reflection all grounded on the premise of service to others. The program is offered quarterly, and every group receives their own unique experience. As the group forms, the Program Director will finetune the program to meet the unique needs of each group. Students can work with their academic advisors to ensure that the experience counts towards curricular or co-curricular credits.
